Hello, the step parameter creates odd gaps that I don't expect, related to size of container. I have had this issue for a long time but wasn't sure if I was doing anything wrong. As per the pictures, I have created a drum loop that is 1 Bar long and a step parameter of the same length, both are looped. I have experimented with the size and density of the figure to make sure I don't "run out of notes" to feed the step parameter, but I almost always end up with these gaps no matter how long I make the figure or step parameter. I recently experimented further with this and found you can get continuous playback with no gaps is you resize the container, anyway this looks like a bug to me. This happened with a parameter that was converted from another drum figure if that matters but could not reproduce the problem by simply drawing in the step parameter and come up with this issue often. Thanks.

The step parameter has very close (fast) steps that may be the result of converting from an unquantized figure. What happens when you quantize these steps or remove some that are obviously intended to be at the same position?
Step is not good for humanization. Better use quantized steps and add a human factor later with a shift parameter.

When I tried to quantize the step parameter I ran into another odd behavior where I clicked on the step parameter in the parameter block then double clicked on one of the quantize durations and the figure underneath was changed but not the step parameter, in the second gif I get around this by double clicking out of the editor and then double clicking back into the editor, then when I applied quantization the gap appears but in different places.

Yes, I'm not sure either, I wondered about it for a long time, but what's very weird to me is that the output of the container is continuous if the container length is exactly 8 bars; If the container is resized to either 9 bars or 7 bars, the gap will reappear.
