Hi folks! So far I am not so happy regarding the usability in Synfire 1 which somehow made me to gave up - now the new hope.
Especially:
- Can't zoom also verticaly. (on my screen the figures are so small that I can't edit there)
- Recording something is a pain - I tried it now again, but was not able to ... and latency is horrible (must use a real DAW for that)
Did those things change with version 2?
PS: I am used to Studio One, which is IMHO a dream regarding the usability - maybe worth to get inspired from.

Much has been improved with version 2 regarding navigation, usability, window layout and everything (including zoom). The new demo is availble from today, so I suggest you try and have a look.
With MIDI-Through enabled and using the Audio Engine for input, the latency while recording (sound response) should be similar to a DAW. Of course, since all input needs to run through figure recognition, the workflow is not as immediate as with static MIDI.
