I just wanted to say that I've only been using Synfire for a few weeks now but it is simply amazing! I'm writing music with a brand new approach, and the final results are refreshing. I've been able to explore chord progressions that never really made sense to me before, and the palette makes it so easy to experiment. I used to dread bumping notes around to experiment with chord progressions in Ableton. When I found something half-decent, I just went with it so I didn't have to bump notes anymore.
But in Synfire, I can try so many more things before settling on something, getting me better results with a lot less frustration.
Thanks again Andre for this great product! I'll be sure to share my album once it's finished. The title piece just needs some finishing touches, but it's turned out beautifully thanks to Synfire!

This has the makings of a great tune, love the melody you introduce around 0:07 and the tune has a great build up, the teaser finishes just as it gets going . Cant wait to hear the finished article.
You are right about the power of synfire, after all this time I sometimes take it for granted. The ability to throw stuff at it, sprinkle synfire magic dust on it, watch it all fit together, then freely experiment with different chord progressions at will is a game changer. It can take a while to get your head around a different way of working (it's not a DAW) and to get the best out of it, you need to spend time harvesting musical ideas from other midi sequences. Once you do make it though the initial 'pain', synfire becomes an essential part of your workflow and your output improves dramatically, both in terms of quantity and quality.

Nice song. Its really mellow sounding
Yep the synfire is great, there is curtain things when I was learning music which I could never understand nor comprehend, I use to have a lot of fear when trying to come up with new and unique music, since using synfire and a few other tools I can say 60% of my fear is gone,
The more I mess with synfire, study music theory and listen various music genres the more am getting comfy.
Out of all the apps I use the 2 I cherish the most are Synfire and Pro-Tools.
Thanks for creating such a great app and sharing it with us.
