I have logic play head moving in sync with synfire but no midi signel from midi channel when playing a Figure. I have followed the video but must be missing something. I have the drone on the channel with a vst loaded in logic.
What I'm trying to do is record/play the midi from synfire into Logic.
Any ideas what I'm not doing correct ?

Logic sometimes takes two or three starts before drone audio becomes audible in sync mode. Also check the instrument plugin if any data is received.

The instrument plugin must be loaded by the drone. Not by Logic. The sound wizard does this for you.

theres no data being received in logic
Then the drone is not used by the Synfire instrument.
Check if Logic is prepared like this:
