Thanks Cliff for your suggestion.

I have searched the forum and I found conflicting answers concerning Synfire V1 and Apple's M1s.

I found two places that state that Synfire V1 runs through Rosetta:

"We have a prototype of Synfire 2 that runs natively on M1 already. It is 300% faster than version 1 under Rosetta.  " https://users.cognitone.com/comment/18820#comment-18820

, and the systems requirement page at Cognitone

System Requirements
Synfire Pro

macOS 10.11 or later
Intel or Apple Silicon (M1)

Windows 10
https://www.cognitone.com/products/requirements/page.stml?a=1&b=1&c=4

But I also found this statement by Andre in response to a post by you Cliff

"Version 1 is not compatible with M1 hardware. It is a miracle that it launches at all."   https://users.cognitone.com/comment/18821#comment-18821

So this is why I posted my question.

Does Synfire V1 run under Rosetta?

Synfire 1 doesn't run on M1 natively. It also has issues with Rosetta 2 and is too slow to be workable.

Synfire 2 runs natively on M1 and is even faster there than on a comparable Intel Mac. Synfire Pro users can already upgrade. Sparks and Express editions will be released in a few weeks.

Will Sparks and Express editions have Factories?
