Still no start-to-finish workflow tutorials; can't you pay someone to make some decent videos like all the other companies?

How many years will this take? I don't have time to keep coming to this forum with questions about bugs and workflow ideas; surely there are a few people here who could make decent, up-to-date videos.

I know and have been working with all the other DAWs/software (and yes, I know this isn't a daw) for 20 years, and why I know them like the back of my hand is getting help over time with general and workflow ideas mainly through videos online.

Manuals make me depressed and sad; I have ADHD, and manuals remind me of school, and that didnt go well.

So can you sort your shit and do some videos, please.

I'm sorry our current workload is so extreme. Unfortunately we still didn't get around to finish the videos we started. There are other very urgent things that need to be done first. It is currently impossible to complete the 50 (or so) tutorials we need in order to cover the workflows of Synfire.

Please help us what kind of "start to finish" you are looking for, and we might do a quick screencast to get  you going. We just can't do all of them right now.

Are we talking about piano music? Film/games scores? Jazz? EDM? Rock/Pop? (all completely different approaches and setups). About importing stuff and building new music based on that? About writing music from scratch with Figures? About racking up Snippet grids and exporting clips for Ableton Live? About reusing and repurposing your own work? Or using Factories to generate stuff to build on? Is it about arranging, recording, editing, or structuring a piece? Or about songwriting with a Guitar and the Palette?

And these are merely some examples that instantly came to mind. There are more.

We need a hint where to start ;-)

I hope I wasn't misunderstood. I mean it: If you can let us know which of these workflows you'd like to see demonstrated first, we'll put together a quick screencast at short notice.

Hi, I am not interested at a special music style I am interested  of practise thing like how to use varition, rhytm, step, ship, shift, flow etc. I never use them for I don’t know how use them.

Good suggestions, thank you. Maybe the OP will also add his preference and then we have something to start with.

varition, rhytm, step, skip, shift, flow

For a start: These parameters have various templates you can insert (right-click menu) and check out what their effect is on phrases you already have.

Variation, Rhythm, and Shift have everyday practical uses. Flow modulates note lengths for rhythmic variation.

Step and Skip are more "algorithmic" and radical. Factories use them (and Flow) extensively. I rarely used thesee two in arrangements yet. Use them only on melodies and simple figures.
