When you are importing a file or phrase you have the arrangement and file interperter box (forget proper name) or when working on a library you have the library, and the processing box. I think there is another process where this happens. These are locked, when you move one, the 2nd moves to keep the same relationship of distance.
Is there a way to NOT have this happen, or would you consider removing it. Most of the time, I have to make a couple of moves to get it right. I don't like where the 2nd box goes cause it's blocking something.

You are talking about the parent/child relationship of windows. It is important that these windows are tied together, because they closely depend on each other. The same goes for the sound browser.
I see your point, but currently there is little opportunity to change this. We will be reworking the windowing and user interface in the not so distant future anyway. I expect the total number of windows to be reduced then.
