after few weeks of using Synfire Pro v2 as a toTal beginner (musically and software-wise) I am very happy and start to realize the enormous potential of the software and the underlying concepts. It is a great pleasure to explore the musical cosmos :-).
The problem at least for me as a music beginner, is that this insight is still just quite theoretical. I would like to see more practical examples how to use Synfire and its potential.
Bearing in mind this extreme feature richness I see a huge gap in easy digestible tutorials which explain this potential in a musically and entertaining way.
Yes, you might say: just experiment and find out for yourself, but I think these days its almost a standard that software in such a price category is demoed either by the community or the company. I very much hope the same to happen sooner or later with Synfire.
I have seen lots of YouTube videos of the community and with all repect for voluntary work I am left quite dissatisfied when it comes to way of presentation and depth of content.
I suggest to allocate some resources for professional tutorial videos. For v1 you posted excellent videos but they seem a bit outdated. I have seen the few v2 preview videos but they dont cover v2 completely.

Synfire isn't more complex than the average DAW, it's just that its paradigms and metaphors are unfamiliar. Many things turn out to be easy once you got the hang of it, but that's impossible without someone showing you first. So yes, there will be tutorial videos and they will even be linked to from the user manual and interactive help.
That said, we don't currently have the resources to focus on this and need to be patient until the dust of the pre-release has settled. Once the basics are explained well, we will be able to delegate this to others.
