I noticed when i play "live" on the palette a rhythm guitar(as example) for the primaire chords : C-F-G-C HN2 shows on the keyboard the voice leading of the chord progression
C -> rootchord ...F/A -> firts inversion...G/B--> first inversion..back to C
So the palette has a better voice leading than if i drag the chords to the progressioneditor ( using the rootchords)
Harmonizing this gives also root chords
Is it not possible to give the progression editor the live played chord from the palette ?..or do imiss something?

Inversion depends on playing range. Try changing the typical pitch of your instrument and you will see different inversions.
