(Where … ) can I find [System] files?

Posted

Hi Andre, Hi list!

I had some wired crashes the last few day sand as I can see, some files are saved in [System]. How could this happen, and, more important, how can I delete or move these files elsewhere? I think no files should be written in System, is this correct? No Idea which automatism saved it there. Are these files "culpable" for the crashes?

Can't see them in Sherlock. SFP 1.7.1#6, OSX 10.6.8

best, Michael

(BTW @Andre: excellent Idea with these [here-I-am]-Brackets, I do like this feature very much!)

Yes, nothing should go to [System] (although I don't exactly know where that is).

Check your default project folder in preferences.

Also try and open these files and watch the console. They might log their full filename there.

System could be in your documents folder "Synfire Pro", or in /Library/Application Support/Synfire Pro.

Hi Andre

Well, since the upgrade, SFP console says "1946 CN.cognac does not exist - skipping". But since there files just are scribble cognacs, there is for me no problem to find them any longer.  Synfire Woodoo.  Thankx and sorry for the vapor.
