Find this not intuiative..better is to start with number 1
That is also the way the notes are labelled : example the perfect fifth note
Example intervals : counting the distance of intervals on my pianokeyboard start on a note 1 ..
Find this with the 0 starting, difficult to bring in notes by hand in the phrase editor by counting the noteposition from the score example.
0 feels not a natural number for counting ..
And i was doing now the example of max reger modulation From C major to Gmajor in notes with the scale board, but counting with 0 is not intuiative and the arithmic is mentally unnatural.

Can you explain (motivation) your choice to me André, the choice of the number 0 for this scaleboard ?

Hi Prado
Ok , but what has that to do with a scaleboard ?
In the manual ..
You have the option of using the scaleboard to help you with drawing segments.
Ok, well let me stop with this investigation of the peculiarity of the number 0 in the scaleboard :)
I try to do now further the Max reger modulations from two palletes for the chordprogression and with the scaleboard for the notes of the score .. it are 4 note chords interesting with different instruments.

Thanks.
Than i ask myself ...what is than the practical meaning of the 0 of the scaleboard ..or other formulated : how to use the scale board ?
The baseline is the tonic note of a scale .. it is analog to the phrase editor where it is the middle line ..right ?

I must assume that '0' is the root of the scale and the numbers plus or minus represent scale step intervals up or down the selected scale.
No?
