When I import a standard midi file and then 'save' it, where is it saved?

I'm puzzled. The 'last used files' shows the name of the saved, imported file, but it does not display any path?!

It is not to be found in any of my default locations selected in preferences/ files.

Where is it?

in my setup ( w7 64) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cognitone\Synfire Pro\System

Seriously, I wish we could select the folder destination. I like to save data off my C:/ file.
