What are the "mirror" scales?

I noticed that if I do a Cmd-Up/Down Arrow (or via menu: Transform > Flip) after selecting one or more chords of the harmonic progression, not only the chord(s) but even the Realtion/Key fields in the right bar change in a "mirror" scale type.

Interesting, but what does it mean?

Mirrored chords and scales can be used like any diatonic chord progression or scale set. The only difference is that the combination of sounds of both a scale and its mirror will create a bitonal or polytonal soundworld rather than the more familiar diatonic soundworld.

Thank you!
