Flexible keyswitch router for Kontakt (multiscript) by jtackaberry
I use it with Synfire and Kontakt Banks. The script translates an Articulation Keyswitch (e.g. D1) into a Midi Program change number (1 through 128).
This allows you to create an Articulation map in Synfire that will select any Kontakt instrument in a Kontakt Instrument Bank. For instance, I created a Kontakt Bank for all the solo Oboe and English Horn Patches in the Berlin Woodwinds Library. There were about 15-20 patches with all the articulations. I created a single Bank with all of these patches, so I can have 1 instrument track with all of these patches available under the Figure/articulation drop down selector.
This allows you to select a different Instrument for any figure (or part of a figure) contained in your phrase. For example, you could have a 2 bar phrase consisting of 3 segments, and each segment can be assigned to a different Kontakt Instrument of Patch.
