This content is for an older version of Synfire. The current version is more streamlined and advanced, but most of the functionality shown here still exist.
Synfire is a very complicated program and it can sometimes be difficult to understand someone elses work or even your own when coming back to it after a period of time. This video shows a simple way of generating a simple overview of a project.
A bug/feature was discovered whilst making the video which probably affects a number of parameter types, however a simple work around is shown in the video. It is possible a preference setting would alter the way synfire treats these parameters and would avoid using the work around, but I havent investigated this yet.
Updated the video to show the inclusion of the freeze function which simplifies things even further.
